We created the Foundre̅ Racing team in late 2019, due to a need for an East Valley presence in the youth cycling community. Our goal was to provide another opportunity for youth cyclists to practice together and participate in non-interscholastic races across our state. We accept ANY riders in 2nd-12th grade, at ANY skill level! If you have a child that wants to ride, we will do all we can to help make that happen!
We promote a safe/supervised environment for Arizona's youth to practice their skills, ride, get outdoors, build relationships with their teammates and coaches, while becoming well developed in decision making skills, responsibility, respect for nature and others.
We are passionate about cycling and want to introduce the sport to more children and procure a life long love of cycling within them. We want to keep the momentum of skills and growth moving forward, and to help younger riders prepare for the future.
To serve all our families as their children grow within the Foundre Fam—from early grade school to high school—every rider in 2nd through 12th grade who wants to practice with us can!
Riders can choose where they want to race from there—whether with any local race organization (MBAA, NICA, or both!) or not race at all—just practice with a rad group and have fun!

We are excitedly preparing for the 2026–2027 season with our Foundrē Racing riders. There is a $200 Foundrē Fee for all 2nd–12th grade riders. This fee includes the following:
To pit and race with the team, riders are required to own the official Foundrē Racing uniform. All uniform pieces and gear can be purchased à la carte during registration at an additional cost—perfect for new or growing riders.
Please note: All individual race fees are paid directly by riders to the race organizers.
Team registration for the 2026–2027 season will open in the fall (September–October). Follow us on Instagram for updates and to be notified when registration opens!
While there are many facets to running our program, below is a general (non-exhaustive) list of items we anticipate covering with team fees for the upcoming season.
We are incredibly grateful to our amazing sponsors and are excited to continue building our partnerships to advance our shared mission. As we work toward greater financial independence and long-term sustainability, we will continue using donor funds responsibly to grow and strengthen our rad cycling community!
Our coaches are all volunteers, most of whom are parents of our team's youth cyclists, but we also have some awesome members of the cycling community that selflessly volunteer their time to work with our team. We could not run this team without these amazing individuals. All coaches are required to complete background checks and most have completed additional training in order to mitigate safety risks and create an equitable environment for all levels of riders at our practices.
If you do not want to coach, but want to help the team in some way, we can still use you for the following (and then some!):
All team communication takes place in Slack (desktop and mobile downloads available).
Once team registration concludes, we will send all team members an invite to join our Foundre̅ Racing Slack Channel. We require both riders (at their parent's discretion) and their parents to join, as it will be critical to stay up to date with practice information, team updates, team fun, etc.
